With the Christmas season now only a few weeks down the road, it’s perhaps a good time to look back on our year in Trials.
The first event we had in the OK Valley, was at a new venue at Naramata, a combined effort between Rob Heagle ( new to our region) and the South OK riders, which included Shane, Gord, Dale and others. – We attended this on the Sunday, and were impressed by the way both the sections and organization went. – Hopefully we will see more for next year.
Event #2 was the now well known Outlaw Trial, which returned to the Summerland location, and was organized by Jay Colley and Stan, plus other helpers, who managed to find some of the old loop on what turned out to be a very wet weekend.
On to Trial #3 which was the popular Duff & Dabs Trial, hosted by Martin and Julie at their Shuswap property – again the weather was a bit “Iffy’ but it was well attended with riders from Alberta and the coast plus other spots -A hi-light of the weekend was again the big cook-out by Ross, plus a first ever indoor Music night on the Saturday , which included a fiddle playing demo by old buddy Pete from Ymir.
We congratulate all the riders who took home trophies, and to the organizers, who put so much effort into making our trials year a success.

Of Course 2025 was a huge year for our local gals, who went to the TDN in Italy – both Katie and Emily put their heart and soul into practicing prior to going and congrats to both Outlaw Beta riders, plus of course the other members of Team Canada.
