Answer to the last quiz – which not surprisingly – nobody got. -it was the ISDT in 1954 held in Wales. – Below is a pic of my local bike shop, in Oswestry, with bikes being prepared for that event, and I remember seeing them in the showroom the following week, still covered ( and I mean really covered) in mud. – As a young lad this really turned me onto dirt bikes – Jim Davies on the right was the manager and always very good to me. The following year I had my first bike., a street bike, but I was soon following local Trials over some really tough terrain in the Welsh Countryside – and it was time to get a proper Trials bike.

Yes !! It’s this weekend and with weather looking good it should be a great Trial. For newbies planning on riding – you can rest assured you won’t be tackling any ‘Bike breaker” sections -( Forget what you see on a lot of You Tube) – and you will have a very enjoyable weekend.
Look out for our Beta Tent, and our Beta Girls Team, who will help with any questions regarding the bikes. – We will be there Sunday. – ( A really busy weekend) – Don’t forget !! If you need parts or gear etc put on the van – you need to email or phone us. – We hope to bring a couple of new 2025 Beta Evos on Sunday both going at rock bottom prices – Call if interested.
