GOOD FRIDAY April 3rd/26

Happy Easter to all our bloggers – we hope your weekend includes some Trials riding – and a reminder that the Naramata Trial goes tomorrow in the south Okanagan.

We know a lot of you will be out, as we have been really busy this past week with parts and accessory orders – In fact we were still open at 9pm last night in order for an Alberta couple to pick up a Beta Evo 200. -They were headed to Naramata. – Glad we were able to supply everything that was needed.

We heard from Roger Boothroyd that the VMC Joe Brown Trial went well, with about 50 riders – very encouraging to see this great turn out – the results are up on the VMC Website, but it was Brandon Volk who won Expert on the TRS.

Answer to the last quiz – The AJS Rider was Mick Andrews – We heard it was Ralph Venables who got Mick his first factory ride as he was friends with the competition manager. – Did I mention that we shared a table at the Grand Hotel in Ft William back in 1972, with Mick’s Dad Tom and his buddy – that made for some good chat over the evening meals. – All our usual bloggers got that one.

Quiz today – Who is this Ossa rider?

We have heard from Walter to say they are still getting snow in the Edmonton region – and our late night customer last night said the Calgary area was pretty brutal, when they drove out yesterday. However although it’s cool here in the Valley, the forecast for the weekend looks good.
