We start our blog today with the sad news that we have lost one of our longtime friends and Trials enthusiast Harlow Rankin who passed away suddenly on April 4th.
As one of our regular bloggers – Harlow was always in touch on a daily basis and had a very long history regarding Trials and Motorcycle sport.
He was the founder of the ATRA in Alberta many years ago, when he lived in Cochrane AB, and was also one of the Calgary Motorcycle Club members who petitioned the City of Calgary for what later became Blackfoot Motorcycle Park.
Our condolences to Sandy and the rest of the family, we have been informed that there will be no funeral at his request – what a shock to come home to this news, after the Naramata Trial.
