Answer to the last quiz – from the blogger experts Brett and Bob – the Jim Pomeroy boots were Heckle – sold by Bultaco – I thought they were Scott as I had a pair of those but junked them after a couple of rides no feel at all for the shifter or rear brake.

Quiz from the previous day which I thought was Randy Mamola – was according to expert scribe Jamie McGregor – Max Biaggi -!!!

Glad our bloggers are so on the ball!!

Quiz today – Who is this Cowgirl?

As some sharp eyed bloggers may have noticed – we are updating our Website to show the new 2026 bikes – This may take a while.

========================================

Of course if anybody wants to know more about the new TRS or Beta models – just shoot us an email. As we have already mentioned – (and unless you have been living under a rock !!) the Motorcycle Market including the Trials bikes – has been in turmoil the past couple of years, due to both the current world economy, but more so by the KTM Fiasco buying then dumping hundreds of Gas Gas models at stupid prices. – We had no issue with Gassers from 1993- 2001 – but as everybody knows the Pro model caused us all grief although it was fun to ride – and amazingly it was on one of the new 300’s that I first went up the very difficult climb to the Joss Mountain Lookout – although we did have to rebuild the engine after the first couple of weeks due to a factory screw up. – You could say quality control was a bit “Iffy”

This is a pic of me on the 1994 240 – a good bike which we sold quite a few of a after Jordi did the Promo. ( err I should mention that the first time I went out on it – I leaned the bike against a dirt bank and the rear fender broke !! – and the kickstart levers tended to break) – That was when Andreu Codina was working for GG and much later I asked Andreu at the 2004 World round if the sea level in Spain was different to Canada!! He looked perplexed !! so I explained that the gassers all came fitted with 30 pilot jets and they would not run !! so we had a box full of these!!! ( We had a good laugh about that) – We dropped GG in 2005, and Sherco in 2012.

What difference when all the bikes came fitted with the Keihin carb !
