This just arrived a really great Magazine now 25 yrs old
Yes that is Emily on the cover. – as many of our bloggers know – I was in the printing industry from 1953-1973 – so I understand just how difficult it is to produce a product like this long term – so congrats to Emily’s Mum & Dad for persevering, especially through mail strikes etc – Although we don’t see much about Trials posted ( Likely because nobody bothers to write anything – including me) the articles are well worth reading and cover a wide range of topics.
And if you would like to meet these nice people and maybe get your mag autographed by Emily – plan on attending one of these shows.

DAKAR NEWS.
Some interesting video posted on this crazy race each night on You Tube – and if you don’t think riding flat out in sand plus a cloud of dust from big trucks etc is crazy– Well you are a special breed. – I remember Al Perrett phoning me late one night a few years ago – “How old are you Dave?'” – I told him I was 6 months older than he was – Great he said – listen we should team up for the Baja – we could win the over 50 class !! – I asked Al if he had been drinking and then told him he was nuts!!! – Al just loved desert racing (rip) good buddy.
