Good morning happy bloggers !!! we hope you are all looking forward to some great Spring riding – BUT the weatherman appears to have got things a bit screwed up !! snow in Vancouver and on the Island plus we have had a skiff here in Vernon. – Not that we should complain, as the bush is still very dry and the moisture is needed.

Answer to the last quiz – it was a young John Lampkin on an Armstrong (Can Am in Canada) – Harlow was first in – then Brett – Bob and later Stan posted from Mexico with a lot of the History related to that time, when he was also riding the World Trials.

Quiz today – Who is this? And why was he famous?

========================================

I came across this old file and as it’s the start of another Trials season, I thought it might be of interest to any of our newer bloggers. – It was in the program of the national Trial we did in Revelstoke. ( A great area that we wish could be utilized again)

It was at that event, which we started at the Local lodge in Revelstoke – we first met young Emily, who was working there at the time. – Who would have guessed that she would go on to a successful career in both riding all sorts of bikes and writing about her experiences in Motorcycle Mojo? ( Can’t remember the name of the other young lady)

This just got posted on Face book – although I know I met Wally I’m afraid I can’t recall where – but may have been in my Yamaha days. Another one we lost too soon.

We had a customer stop by to pick up a new pair of Wulf Trials boots for his son, who is just getting into Trials, so as always, I told him about using Dubbin to preserve the leather. – But also showed him that this fine product is available on Amazon at about $10.00 – ( We buy it locally but it’s $26.95) ( It’s what we used back in the UK)

Finally today a post of some of the great Ladies who have been inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
