It was at a St Patrick’s Day dance (March 17th) that I met Babs back in 1959 – and we have been together ever since – maybe the luck of the Irish rubbed off on us !!!!! ( Well on me anyway!!) -or The Welsh blood !!!!

The National Lomax Cup Trial is held on Easter weekend every year near where we lived in Wales -Starting at a place called Pontfaddog near Glyncaeriog – ( I’m guessing Taff is the only blogger ,who will know how to pronounce those names!!) Here is one of the sections they will use this year. – That was the only National Trial I ever rode in the UK – Sammy Miller won that day, back in 1958. – This popular event, is still run the old fashioned way with a very long loop and about 40 sections.
Below is a view of the type of terrain we used to ride in Wales – and also the dark rainy clouds most of the time.

We had a nice visit with Katy yesterday, she will be heading South for another Enduro within the next couple of weeks – unfortunately the poor road conditions and snow – made for a change of plans this weekend.
