Although we are only officially a Beta Trials dealer – we do sometimes bring in one of the neat Xtrainer models for special friends. – Here is one for Doug Nimmo who also has a TRS. – Doug – who lives in Alberta, used to ride a lot of Trials in BC. and has a Summer home in Fintry.

Last night we watched a You Tube video of day two at the Alba Trial in the UK – Shot by the BVM crew it’s a vintage bike Trial in the North Country and features mostly creek sections and moor crossings similar to Scotland ( And Wales) – They also had snow showers and it looked cool! – Check it out.

Also watched the movie – “Out of Africa” a really good show which I think won a few Academy awards – but what caught my attention was the scenes where Robert Redford is flying a yellow Tiger Moth Bi-plane – This was the first aircraft I had a flight in, although it was the version called a Fox Moth as it had a small cabin between the wings instead of the forward cockpit. – my elder brother was with me and we took off from the beach at Southport for the joy ride that sparked my interest in airplanes – that was also a bright yellow color like the one in the movie. – I think I was 13 years old at the time.
