Congrats to all- especially to our own Katie Mcgee. – YES Katie rides an Outlaw Beta !!!!! Well done Katie, you have shown both class, and courage competing at a very high level.
Interestingly enough, we just sold Katie’s old Beta Evo 250 today – it has gone to another old customer, who first bought a 200 from us – but then did a trip into adventure biking, now he’s back – and he has sure picked up a real gem here. – Way to go Scott – enjoy your trip to Alberta.

A flashback to 1957 and the start of the lightweight race in the Isle of Man – back then they had a mass start and used the shorter Clypse course rather than the long 32 mile Mountain circuit. – it was a time of dustbin fairings, later banned, and yes that is the great Sammy Miller (#14) up front making a great start on his Mondial. – He was leading going into the last corner at Governors Bridge, when it seized – he pushed in to finish 5th. ( I was there for that week)
