Answer to the Friday quiz – Rob Crawford on Ariel GOV132 while Sammy Miller looks on!! – Correct guess’s from Harlow, Bob & Brett.

Sammy is likely thinking “How the hell does he do that?”

Here is another Trials bike from the 50’s a Royal Enfield “Bullet” this was the first production bike fitted with the new “Swing Arm” rear suspension, which was soon copied by everybody. – Another unique thing on the Enfield, was a small foot lever near the gear shifter, which located neutral when pressed – neat idea.

Just got the latest Scottish Program from Harry – always great to see – we have quite a collection.

And inside a lonely Canadian !!

We just came across these old results of the National Trial we put on at Postill Lake near Kelowna – check out the scores!!! yes it was tough – just ask Bill Sparks, who lost the tip of his finger in a crash –

Of course the fact that we had a huge rainstorm just as we got the Trial underway, effected the rocky sections, but we still think the trial was a success.

A couple of big Trials this weekend – The Two Day Vintage in Scotland – Bernie Schreiber is entered on a borrowed BSA !! The other is the FIM at Andorra – at least they have a lot of natural sections in that high altitude event.

Also a Trial at Ioco I think – not sure what that is.

UPDATE – Check out these scores from the 125 class in Andorra !!!!! only the top 6 listed – fantastic ride by young George Hemingway.
