Right another scorcher – took this shot of the thermometer on our back deck at 11am yesterday – this in the shade! – Later it was +41 at 6pm

Obviously with this very hot spell, we try to get any work done early in the morning – yesterday we shipped off a bunch of Wulf gear and a couple of TYZ sprockets to a customer in Invermere. – He has just bought this 1993 TYZ which looks to be in really great condition. –
We have told the story of this Yamaha project before, but here is the pic of me at the SSDT in 1992 with the Yamaha Factory TYZ Prototype which was ridden by a Japanese test rider, – Mick Andrews put the Outlaw Xbar pad on the bike – no doubt this got some comments when the bike got shipped back to Japan. Together with Walt we ordered 5 of these units – the only ones Imported by Yamaha Canada that year.- We have often said that this was the bike that convinced me to become a dealer for Mountain MC and Beta!!

We just saw a post regarding Gordon Jackson – seems his family plan to scatter his ashes at this spot on “Grey Mare’s Ridge” where he took his famous “Dab” back in 1961. – a nice and fitting tribute to the great man.
