Answer to the last quiz – Dougie Lampkin at the US World Round in Donner 1994. – Neil and Pete both got it correct – Brett got everything but the correct year – but also knew that is was a photo that I took using a Pentax 35mm fitted with a 300mm lens. (Well maybe he didn’t know about the camera!)

We have not heard much about who is doing what in the Valley, but we do know that Tom Hills from New Denver has picked up a nice used TRS !! He has quite a collection of bikes, including the Sherco – I sold him new back a few years ago. – It was Tom and his buddy Lionel – that took me up high in the mountains above New Denver to explore old mining areas, a few years ago.

Birthday greetings today go out to our buddy Harold (Turk) Perepalkin, who has just made his 82nd trip around the sun. – A Trials rider, and ISDT competitor, Turk still rides a lot on Vancouver Island and will likely be out today on his TRS Xtrack.
