Well ! Even though our quiz pic yesterday was not a Motorcycle guy – we could not fool Bob Clark who was quickly in with the answer – Yes it was Juan Manuel Fangio from Argentina – Brilliant many time formula one champion – I even saw him race once in the UK.

I saw this pic posted and it brought back a memory – It was at a Calgary Motorcycle show many years ago – I was there looking after the ATRA booth and had some bikes on display- A couple of lads from Saskatchewan showed up and were checking out the Sherco 290 – and after a chat they decided to buy it. – they said they would meet me outside with their vehicle — However to my surprise, their vehicle turned out to be an old Caddy !! I asked where they were going to put it, and they said they were going to tie it on the roof!!!!
Now this was January and quite cold, so I never did see the result of this, and wondered all weekend if they ever got back to Saskatchewan without incident – but a phone call the next week told me everything was fine – just a couple scratches on the roof of the caddy. -Yes ! pretty amazing. Always wished I had got a pic.
