Sunday was a couch day, watching the golf, as I mentioned with the temperature in the Valley well over +30 – and the forecast for the same most of the week – I think that was a wise decision– Turned out to be a good day for Tommy Fleetwood who won his first ever PGA event plus a nice cheque for $10 million US. !!!!!!! In fact the player who finished last still takes home $350.000 – !!!!! Hmm – no wonder Mart wanted the kid to take up golf instead of Trials. – Interesting bit of trivia about Fleetwood – he comes from Southport UK, which is just North of Liverpool on the Coast – This was the place that I got to go up in my first airplane as a schoolboy, along with my elder brother, it was in a De Haviland Fox Moth Biplane – taking off from the beach. -( Wish I had pics and video ) Another famous Trials rider and World Road Race and many time TT winner – also came from Southport – the very popular Geoff Duke.
It was nice to hear the large American Crowd really supporting Tommy. – He seems to be such a humble likable guy.
Note! I think a few other Trials riders, decided to also watch the golf and stay out of the hot sun!!!

Meanwhile back in the Motorcycle world, the first day of the ISDE in Italy looked to be very muddy – lots of video on YOU Tube – – looked more like Wales 1983!!! – We don’t know what position our Canadians are in.

The Ontario club had a trial on yesterday no results but here is a pic we saw. – don’t know who it is. – But a nice bike!!

Here is a young lad who is turning a few heads on the World Trials scene. – Ryon land could very well win the 2025 Trial 3 World Championship at the tender age of 16 – that should get the Yanks excited. ( The only other World Trials Champ from the USA was Bernie Schreiber)
