Answer to the quiz pic, I took of Dougie Lampkin – it was at the 1994 World Round held at Donner USA – Barry and myself drove down and spent quite a lot of time with Mart Lampkin and the crew. – First correct was Pete Varey then Bob Clark – Brett got in first, but the wrong year!!.

Here is an interesting pic of Roger Mount taking a “Five” in Scotland – the reason ? – his 1971 Montesa jumped out of gear !! This was a common problem with that model ( I know because I had one – but not for long see pic below).

Heath Brindley from the UK posted this pic of his Leccy bike – but to be on the safe side, he always takes his Outlaw toolbelt with him when he goes riding !! ( maybe he has a spare battery hidden in there?)

This is an interesting pic from the recent Italian Trial – interesting because the rider is wearing a Dunlop cap !! once quite common on Moto GP podiums – you rarely see these anymore – As most of our readers know Trials tire prices have gone “Through the roof” this year – with no answer to why as yet – or indeed an alternative to the Michelin and Dunlop. – Ross might have the right idea “Just buy a new bike every year”
