Yesterday I showed the Sunday quiz pic to our old friend John Dearie who stopped by for a visit and he recognized the section right away – John of course comes from Scotland, and did ride the Scottish one year. He also rode quite a few of our Trials in the Valley when he lived in Kelowna. – It was great to see John after a lot of years ( he moved to Squamish a long time ago) – He still has a Beta we sold him but has not ridden for a long time. – Maybe after spending time in our shop looking at the new bikes he might be tempted!! – Imagine how many Trials bikes you could get in that van.

With the Scottish Six days happening pretty quick – a lot of riders have been testing their skills on rocky burns ( creeks) Neil Sturgeon has once again posted some great pics of events from last weekend.

We have noticed quite a lot of videos posted from Europe of young kids doing pretty incredible things on the new Trials bikes, and while this is great – we have to wonder what is ahead for these youngsters? Will they continue in a sport that seems headed more like a circus, or will they choose something else?

We posted this pic because it shows a young rider wearing wet weather gear – we have this lightweight Wulf kit in stock – it packs very small to fit in a back pack – riders never go without it in Scotland.

But before the SSDT – there will be a World cup Mountain bike thing happening on Ben Nevis – Seems crazy to have this so close to the start of an event that has been going on and supporting the local economy for over a hundred years!!
