We hope all our bloggers had a great Easter weekend – there have been lots of pics and video clips posted which show a lot of the great action from the Naramata Trial – even got this pic taken of the toothless wonder!! You might like to note that we still wear the Anson Trials Jacket with zip out sleeves we Imported – in perfect shape after all these years. However, they ceased production many years ago and we have since just imported Wulf gear from the UK much of which is made in Scotland. Give us a call if you are looking for riding gear, boots or helmets. ( check this out on the website)

– The weather was kind for most of the weekend except for the odd shower. But snow on the pass and in parts of Alberta, so we hope everybody made it home OK.
– Yesterday was spent unloading the van – this takes quite a long time and effort as the years go by but at least we had some stuff that was needed.
Here is a good shot of Katie on our Evo 200 – good to see her out after the knee surgery -( Yes that bike is for sale) – thanks to Rob Heagle for the pic.

Answer to the last quiz – A pic of the Market square in Edinborough where the Scottish riders began the first day years ago – This was a very long road ride to Fort William which also took in a detour over the moors. – Later the start was moved to Fort William. – Some riders seized engines on that first day which put an early end to their week ( Mart Lampkin did this one year)
John Kitchener from the UK was first in with the correct answer, followed by Brett and Neil Carter.
Quiz today – Guess who on this rigid AJS – and what section in Scotland?

Results from the Naramata Trial. I think it was a bit disappointing that riders who only rode the one day did not get any recognition in the results – but maybe that was how the event was promoted – just as a two day? Perhaps something to consider next time? ( We left early so perhaps it was mentioned) – However it was good to see buddy Mike Philips (Beta) won Junior and Katie got 3rd Intermediate on the Outlaw Beta 200 – in the Sunday event. – It was Ross Rathbone ( Beta) – who took the win both days in the Senior class – ( Last ride on his 2024 Factory Beta – new 2025 next time out) Check with Ross if you are looking for a nice used 2024 Beta factory 300. – It was great to chat to so many people we have not seen for quite a while hardly recognized Dean from Sorrento with his new beard.
