We just got the latest issue of Motorcycle Mojo Mag – now published right out of Vernon BC – Inside is an advert for the TDN Team, which includes our own version of Itchy Boots -Emily Roberts – Emily posts a lot of her adventures in the Mag which is owned by her Mum & Dad. and just like Noraly they are all well worth reading.
( It would be nice to see Noraly on a Trials bike – just like Emily)

Having watched a couple of the latest World Trials which the FIM now also feature a “Race” – I would suggest a better idea might be to penalize riders one point for every “hop” – While the new generation of Trials riders at this are amazing doing their trick riding – we don’t see this doing much for the sport at the grass roots level.

As most people in the Industry know, factories need volume to survive and that is why we have seen so many small Trials bike manufacturers go under – Bultaco knew this and diversified into other markets, including road racing – here is a pic of a young Barry Sheene on the Bultaco roadracer which were very successful. – as most fans know, Bultaco also built great flat trackers ( many still used today) plus Enduro models, and a great MX bike promoted to world championship status by Jim Pomeroy.
So what happened ?? Well it was the trade unions backed by the Spanish government, who refused to allow Factories to downsize when the market went soft. – Bultaco had no option but to close the doors.
