Answer to the last quiz – Wayne Rainy – former Moto GP rider who tragically broke his back racing and is now in a wheel chair – However this does not stop him being involved and in fact is a regular at the Goodwood Festival of speed in the UK along with other former Road Race stars – even going up the hill on a race bike.
Only Roger Boothroyd got this correct.

For interest – The top pic is the start line of the 1976 Moose Mountain Two Day 200 mile Cross Country RACE ( My IT 400 is arrowed) 173 riders on the line for the shotgun start.
Below is me before I became an Outlaw in a 1973 Calgary Trial. ( on the 325 Sherpa T – great bike) – Yes that was a very steep rocky section.

We have often mentioned how the small Euro factories built and competed in other sports besides Trials – Well! Bultaco also built a Speedway bike and tried to promote the sport in Spain, but it was never a popular sport.

Nice to see our sport still doing well down East – with nice club events that everybody enjoys – here is a pic of one of the regulars an Ex Pat – who used to ride Trials in the UK – Eric Brackenbury. – Obviously doing something I also need to do as Anno Domini creeps on. – Taking a breather.
