Having spent many years in the Newspaper Industry I know just how hard it is to keep them solvent – this one didn’t last long and that was before the electronic age took over. – Interesting story on the Scottish from that year – 30 odd riders out the very first day due to the bad weather and high creeks. – I remember in 1989 the weather was really bad – Jordi seized the new Water-cooled Beta when the rad got plugged on the moors – at least one rider got washed downstream at one place. – but the pubs did a roaring trade.
