we are going to save the trial
I have read a bit all your comments and I am glad to see that generally you know what you are talking about, as you know I have been a pilot and remain linked to the Trial for more than 40 years, in my beginnings it was very difficult times for the Trial by the disappearance of the mythical marks Bultaco, mountain and bone.
I have been lucky to have experienced the best moments of this sport, with a lot of participation in trials, a lot of fans and a lot of interest also for sports lovers in general.
All that has been lost, without doubt the prohibition of accessing the mountain is certainly the first cause, but adds to the diversity of possible activities for young and old, from infinite motor specialties that divide the user into various activities, there are people who has modern and classic trail bike, enduro and trail bike and maybe road bike…
Electric bike, and practice a thousand other leisure activities!!
Currently we have within the trial motorcycles of 2t of 4t electric injection that in such a small market dilute the market, as happens in automotive, at the sport level we go totally upside down, we can not continue doing Trial Circus that no one will want to practice it, we need to do more regional trials, national and classic with a level adequate to 95% of users you are the ones who make the trial great!!
Trials have to be made very easy where whoever comes to enjoy, the trial is the only motor sport that the difficulty is decided by the organizer, if a difficult and dangerous step is marked the fan who is going to have a good time and Monday has to go to work will not come back.
that’s why the Classics Trial is so successful, it’s technically easy, there’s not such a competitive spirit and the organizers make it a party, have a good time
I’m no longer saying going to the Spanish championship or the World Cup, it’s expensive, with a very high level only suitable for professionals, but in reality there are only 3!!
What are we doing!!
The trial is you, the trial is neither Toni Bou nor Marcelli nor Busto nor any other driver of those championships…

As you have said there are other factors that do not help, like the price of motorcycles, do you know that on a motorcycle today there is about 2.500 € VAT
That toughens the motorcycle a lot and is not the factory who benefits, licenses, registrations and above all at the professional level can not hold have backpack, salary, expenses, registrations, trips to lose trial enthusiasts who stop being local riders to dedicate to it, to make even more professional an unsustainable sport.
