As the World Trials Stomach turns !!!!!!!!!!!

🚨 GASGAS REDEFINES HIS RACE STRATEGY 🏁 ON TRIAL 🚨

As of 2026, the GASGAS brand will no longer participate in the World and Spain Trials Championships with a factory team. This strategic shift will allow us to concentrate more on developing our industrial and commercial activities.

As part of the global restructuring process led by the KTM AG Group, of which GASGAS is an active member, the company has decided to no longer participate in the world and national trial championships with a factory team starting from the 2026 season. This decision reflects the need to focus all its financial and human resources on its key business priorities, namely the development and consolidation of the brand’s production and commercial activities, key elements of its future.

This new strategy doesn’t mean a total withdrawal from the competition: GASGAS will maintain its competitive presence by directly supporting the private teams and racing teams that support the brand. This will be done through various forms of collaboration and technical support.

πŸ€΅πŸ»β™‚οΈ Fabian Simmer, GASGAS General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Europe at KTM Group, explains: “This decision was not an easy one to make.” We have invested significant resources and a lot of human effort into a competitive team of exceptional people. However, with the current evolution of the World Championships and Spain in their queen categories, as well as the slowdown in global sales of trial bikes, maintaining a factory team is no longer a financially viable option. Nevertheless, we at KTM Group continue to believe in the potential of GASGAS and the discipline of trial, even if we take a different approach than the factory competition. Β»

GASGAS has been one of the most important names in the history of World Trials over the past decades, winning numerous titles and prestigious victories. Evidence is in the recent World and Spanish vice-champion titles won in 2025 by our factory pilot Jaime Busto, to whom, and all members of our teams over the years, we express our deepest gratitude for his commitment and dedication.

πŸ‘‰ This decision concerns only the racing sector. The commercial activity of GASGAS, both on trial and off-road, remains unchanged. Our customers will continue to benefit from a complete service for motorcycles, spare parts and assistance thanks to the official dealer network GASGAS, a pillar of the present and future of this iconic Spanish brand
