We have often mentioned that Trials bikes have always been the best for exploring the high mountain terrain – light, with lots of torque, soft tires that leave no trace etc – Well here is a pic that shows one of the those trips. The Bultaco Trials bike was named “Sherpa” for just that reason.

We have been watching quite a lot of the Dakar rally on You Tube – it shows some amazing terrain and of course a huge test of endurance. Ex World Ladies Trials Champion is in it again this year driving a buggy of some sort. Not sure how she is doing. Looks like Honda stand a good chance of winning this year, after years of KTM dominance.
