We hope everybody enjoyed St Patrick’s Day – especially our Irish friends – Pat (Paddy) Horan , was on our SDE Team in Wales and I have a story about the first night we went into the pub located near the Motel we were staying at in Brecon. – Standing at the bar, I asked Pat what he would like? – now as most people who have visited a UK Pub know – they have all the various beer taps, behind the bar all named etc. – well! Pat glanced at all these various taps which went from one end of the bar to the other – and said -” Hmm! Well why don’t we start at that end, and work our way along?????? – Anybody used to drinking English style beer will get a laugh at that. – Pat rode a Walt Healy Yamaha TT 600 that year for Team Canada. Yesterday I stopped in to get my hair cut and was pleasantly surprised to find two new young barbers, who both ride YZ Enduro bikes – Naturally we had a really good chat, while I got my rather long hair trimmed. – Check it out at the Barber shop just across from the village green in Vernon. ( First time I can ever remember having a couple of Bike guys as barbers !! Neat) – I even got to explain to them what a Trials bike was all about, and one found my website on his phone.
