Answer to the last quiz ( we think) is Adam Norris on the TY Yamaha in the 1993 Scottish – the section is Fersit !! nobody got it. ( I was there but did not take that pic) – That was the day I twisted my knee badly on the long hike up to that spot with Harry McKay – I found an old stick to help me hobble back down to the car park – had surgery later back in Canada.

The weather forecast for today is awesome, so Gerry and myself will head out for some fresh air and it will give me a chance to test the new 2026 Beta Sincro 200 – I will get some pics for tomorrow.
It’s ironic that the all new Beta Sincro is right hand kick – not the best for me as that is my really bad knee!! I might have to put an estart kit on it. Although the new engine seems easier to kick over.

We got a surprise message from Billy Trayner, who has been living in Arizona now for many years, he says that he still rides and also still on Beta -he says he has a new Sincro but also has a Factory on order.- We hope to get some pics from him. Billy lived in Alberta for a long time and we always had a laugh at events -he is originally from Scotland.

The TRS factory is going full blast, in spite of the poor economy and the effect of the Gasser – give-a-ways. etc — However, our first 2026 has been delayed a bit so we will just keep riding our favorite TRS 125 for a few more weeks. ( love that bike – but we have an estart coming)

Roger Boothroyd sent us this pic he took of myself, Bob Johns, and Harlow Rankin, at a VMC trial a few years ago. – I took Sammy to that one when he rode a Beta for us. – We stayed with Dave Fair and had a really nice weekend. Harlow had ridden his Ducati street bike down from Nanaimo for the day.
