Well ! We did the right thing by going for a ride on Friday when the weather was just perfect – as we now have showers for the next few days. Not that riding in the rain bothers me or anybody else coming from the UK !!! – riding muddy events in the rain was normal back when we were young. – and still is especially if you enter the Scottish Six Day Trial. – Back then everybody wore rain proof riding gear – looking quite drab compared to when you see all the latest bright colors today.
Now we are older and wiser we might just stay home and watch the Masters Golf on the box!!
Below is the starting order for the Golf today. – It has often been said that Trials, like Golf, is a thinking man’s ( or woman’s) sport – Did you know that Martin Lampkin wanted Dougie to take up golf rather than trials?? – One thing for sure there is a lot more money in golf than Trials. ( only top riders like Bou make any big money)
