Below perhaps the most famous Trials section in the World.

The weather seems to have held up pretty good for the Pre 65 Scottish ( Did you know that it was Sammy Miller who had the idea to start this event ?)

We have seen some brilliant riding on the old bikes – including some rigid rear frame models, no video of Harry that we have noticed – but here is a pic of “The lad” He finished a very good 38th out of 176 finishers – he lost all his 18 points on the first day .

And the winner is!!!!

Here is the podium – the second place finisher who also went “zero” for the two days – was Tom Sagar – the tiebreak is I think age. – Tom is a member of my old club in the UK – I used to ride with his Grandad ! -( The guy standing at the back on the left – is Yrjo Vesterinen 3 time World Trials champ and winner of that 1975 event we plotted in Alberta)

Incredible to think you go clean for two tough days on an old bike and still only get 2nd!!

Today they have the big parade in Fort William when all the riders put-put down main street.
