Well ! we had quite a few favorable comments after we posted the Outlaw History yesterday – we mainly did this because not all our bloggers are old sods like us, and a bit of a history lesson never hurts.

My first thought when I saw this was – How times have changed – are the new breed of Trials riders so scared of riding in the rain??

After the Japan Trials Circus – there has been a ton of posts on FB regarding the new FIM rules and indeed the decline of Trials as the majority of people know it. – As Heath Brindley says – The last British Championship Round was an Indoor Trial held Outdoors!! – No wonder so many top riders are saying stuff it, and going the enduro route.
A World Championship with seven riders – with nobody able to understand the new rules ? What a Fiasco.
Hopefully our Canadian organizers will not be fooled into thinking all this hop & bop stuff is the future of Trials.
Note – We see the latest National Poster refers to Moto-Trials – another Spanish idea. – At least this is not being called a “Race”
I wonder what Sammy Miller thinks of all the latest changes to the sport in which he won 1400 events? –
