A huge thanks to all who posted congrats to Babs and myself on our 64th Wedding Anniversary- ( There were a lot!!) – we spent a quiet day as usual, but it was nice to reminisce about events from yester-year . – No big fuss, just a nice day.

Answer to the last quiz – Dougie Lampkin on the Beta and wearing the Anson gear, which we sold back in the day. – great stuff and we still wear the jackets – unfortunately Dave Anderson could not compete with the low-ball Euro pricing and quit that side of his business. – Brett, Pete Varey, Roger Boothroyd and Peter from Oz all got that one.

Today we will take a drive to Kelowna- call on a couple of my dealers who sell Opti – ( Still the best oil out there) – We have been Distributing it since 1987, and although we quit travelling many years ago – it still goes in all our bikes – give us a call if you want more info. –
The Opti 10w 40 ( non-synthetic) goes in the tranny of the Betas – -Opti 5w30 Non synthetic for the TRS with the Diaphragm clutch
Opti 2 Synthetic Mix – Interlube says to mix 100-1 and we use that ratio in our personal demos. – But suggest 80-1 for customers who might be worried!! – We have NEVER had an engine failure.

Anybody remember the movie “How Green was my Valley”? the story about the flooding of a Village in Wales to make a reservoir to pump water for the City of Liverpool. – That place was only aprox 30 miles from where we lived in the UK. – Perhaps that is why we love Vernon and the Okanagan Valley so much.
