Well! Friday we had a surprise visit from the Belanger Family travelling through on route back to Quebec after being at the National Trial in Mission. – Glad to say we had a really great visit in spite of the language barrier. – We talked about the bikes and the Trial with really good feed back. – It was interesting to see the name Outlaw on their unit !!
It was interesting when I opened the door, because I recognised the person, but could not put a name !! – This happens a lot when you get to my age – and is only because we get quite a few people stop by without phoning – The reason I thought I recognised this person, was of course because I had seen his picture often with the Family at Quebec events. His lads are the top riders in Quebec.
It was also good to get their feed back on the Mission Trial and from what I could gather ( language ) – The Natural sections with BIG uphills, However I did talk about MY idea of what a good Trial is all about and an eyebrow was raised when I mentioned the FIM I put on in 1975 had a 69 mile loop!!
