Well ! It’s the last day of August and thankfully we have some cooler weather – – Not sure if anybody got out – I know they had a Trial in Ontario and there was also a World Round that Harry Hemmingway got a 3rd spot so kudus to him on that – there has also been a few comments on FB regarding the state of modern Trials, and yes I think the FIM have made some mistakes, but the riders who are competing in this series with little financial support really do deserve a huge thumbs up. – especially the Hemmingway bros and young Jamie Galloway.
My biggest beef – is the Europeans calling Trials a “Race”
So taking this a step further – does anybody in the FIM ever look at the huge entrees now at classic events like the Costa Brava -?
I just saw a very good post by the CPTA about an upcoming event they are holding – It will be interesting to hear how this goes.
Here are the results of a recent trial in the UK all natural sections and yes another Lampkin showed up as the winner.

So as we head into the September long weekend – I hope that a lot of you will head to the Ymir trial – great for all riders no matter if you are a first timer or an Expert – The fun time around the Saturday night campfire is one that I will miss this year, but I look forward to hearing the reports later. – I really wish I could be there.
