I don’t think any words can describe the horror that happened on this day in the USA, but there are some things being posted by Trump that are enough to make anybody worldwide, want to throw up. – The man is not only a liar he is deranged – and that is all I will say on this sad subject.. There is only one cure for Dictators.
Has the world really gone mad ? – we grew up in the 2nd World War – – carrying a gas mask to school !!!! ( Think about that)

It’s hard to believe, but the date for the famous Scott Time Trial is coming up shortly, and of course also our local Shuswap Trial put on by Martin and Julie.
For many in Canada – a time trial is something they have no idea about, unless they were riding in Alberta during the 70’s or on Vancouver Island.
These events are a time and speed Trial, with the fastest man with the lowest points score in the sections, the overall winner. – The most famous of these is the Scott Trial held in Yorkshire England, and this was what we copied in Alberta in the 70’s. – However, my own introduction to this was at a local Selatyn ( Wales) Trial back in about 1956 – ( no helmets required) It shows me passing a stuck rider who obviously took the wrong line through this Welsh bog. – It was called the Lecruddy Struggle – and it certainly was. – Interesting that I’m wearing a Canadian Welders cap, which was brought back to the UK by my future brother in law – I got a 2nd class award. ( While this doesn’t sound very grand – just to finish an event like this in the UK is an achievement.)

Yesterday we had a nice visit from an old customer, who has now got his 16yr old daughter a Trials bike and needed some gear, – We had a really nice chat, as I explained a lot about Trials technique and what it takes to practice. – we don’t just sell stuff – we sell the sport!! – I hope to connect her with Emily and Katy.
