Rob Heagle from Kelowna who just joined our OK Trials group – took in one of Ryan Young’s schools while down South – Ryan is one of the best teachers and we supplied him with a bike for a couple of schools he did in Canada .

We heard from Roger Boothroyd that the VMC Trial last Sunday was a blast with a good rider turn out of close to 50 in total – this included a bunch of new kids which is encouraging. We hope to get some pics of this.

Another “Blast from the Past” This was when we got the first 1994 Gas Gas – This was a good bike and we sold a lot, although I do recall that the first trial I rode it in- I leaned the bike against a bank and the rear fender snapped!! ( some things never change)
I see I’m wearing the Anson riding pants that we had made in the UK at that time – great quality and price – I met Dave Anderson and his wife at the 1993 Scottish and also again in 1995 – when he told me he no longer supplied the gear because the Europeans were killing him on price – ( He also had Dougie Lampkin wearing them)

As mentioned we have been sorting through a lot of old files recently – below is one of Jordi’s Outfit at the 1989 Scottish – and then one of him after he exited an early section, on the Prototype Beta Zero. – As reported earlier 89 was a really bad weather year in Scotland and the new water-cooled bike had the radiator plug with good old Scottish mud and the bike seized.
