Sunday was a very laid back day – watching the Masters golf, as I have related before it’s a game which I have never tried, but I think it is quite similar to trials because of the mental approach. – A real test around a long loop without making too many mistakes.

I was glad to see Rory win for the 2nd time, although he nearly blew it on the 18th hole. – both Babs and myself enjoyed a “kick back” day

The Irish fans pictured watching on the big screen in Rory’s hometown Pub were naturally very happy.

Answer to the last Quiz – Marc Colomer on the very early Beta techno Prototype. – Bob Clark was the only one who got it. all correct.

Quiz today.- Who is this and what bike?

The Annual Team Squid/Outlaw is just two weeks away and is always a great event – Steve Day and his Team make this a fun time for all classes.

The Jordi bike (TRS) is very popular in Japan as are the Betas – Did you know that Beta still sell more Trials bikes than any other manufacturer? They are the oldest family Factory still building bikes., dating back to 1904.

( KTM tried to buy them but they turned them down fortunately for all us Trials fans- Beta bikes still hold their excellent value)

Jordi Tarres won his first few World titles on Beta and likely learned a lot which helped when he started his own TRS Factory. As everybody knows the TRS is very well built and easy to work on, plus the estart models which includes the popular Xtrack version, make them ideal for all trials or trail riding.

It’s good to see Jordi still out promoting after his serious operation.
