In World Trials News, the Circus is in Town in Spain this weekend – and we now know why they call Trials a “Race” – because the FIM now have a one minute time limit to complete a section.!!!! crazy.
They are now even listing the results as a “race”

Answer to the last quiz – Bob Johns riding in a Trial at Trochu Alberta, a pic I took. – Bob rode a lot of Trials in the UK along with his brother, before emigrating to Canada. – He is perhaps better known as the founder of the Trials Canada website, which was brilliant. – Brett and Stan got it.

I saw this posted on FB- A nice tribute and monument to our old departed friends Al Perret and Keimpe plus another two I don’t recall- It’s high up on a mountain near Kamloops, and another friend Mike King from White saddle air flew in for the event.- Looks like they had a good crowd of old riding buddies, plus family.
We have lots of great memories of both Al and Keimpe – with Al in both business and Cross Country Racing. – Keimpe acted as the “Outrider” for our Team Canada at the Welsh ISDE in 1981.
Here is a pic of the last time we saw Al – we visited him at his home at Sun Peaks near Kamloops. – Al even insisted he pay for lunch.
