Answer to the last quiz – Michael Dunlop – nephew of the great Joey Dunlop. – Michael has now won 32 TT races an absolute amazing record – Joey held the record with 26 wins for a very long time.
Although this one was Road Racing not Trials – our very clever bloggers were quick in with their response – Neil, Brett and Pete Varey all got it!!

While we are having all sorts of fire problems in Canada with dry/hot weather – over in Scotland they finally got some traditional “Scottish Mist” for this weekend’s Highland Classic. – Below are a few pics – the top one shows Bernie Schreiber with organizer John Moffat – Bernie borrowed the nice Sherpa T and said he enjoyed the first day, although he said he lost a “5” when he stalled the bike in one section.
As most of the older bloggers will remember, the old bikes were ridden with the throttle shutting off all the way, just using the heavy flywheel effect and not touching the clutch. ( Although these days we see more use of the clutch so obviously the re-fettled bikes work much better) Also none of these bikes had primary kickstart. ( In other words you needed to start in neutral)
