The VMC hosted the “Boomer” Trial last weekend to celebrate the life of John Gronow a long time member and a real “character” – only 14 riders showed up maybe because of the heat, but I’m sure they all had fun – Roger sent us the info with a couple of pics by Dale Coull.

Jon English posted to say he had a really good time competing at the US trial last weekend – at 45 years old he is still on top of his game. – Not many enter their first World round at that age these days. – No word on whether he plans on doing another Scottish in 2026.

In my recent blog – I mentioned camping high up in the Mountains of Switzerland – and this pic brought back memories of waking up in our tent to the sound of the cowbells as they were herded up to the higher mountain. slopes. – Neat.
