The name Bob MacIntyre will be familiar to many older motorcycle enthusiasts , as the man who did the first ever 100mph lap of the TT circuit in the Isle of Man back in 1957 ( I was there to see that) sadly Bob Mac was killed racing at Oulton Park. – However, the name Robert MacIntyre will be familiar to golf fans this week, as this is the name of the leader at the BMW classic Golf taking place – he is 4 shots ahead of the world champ American Scottie.
