Here is a shot of Team Canada 2025 for the TDN in Italy – – We hope they all make it OK – Nice to see our Outlaw Beta Gals in there.

Below is a pic of Sammy Miller in the 1971 ISDT held in the Isle of Man – He is passing a USA rider who looks to have failed a hill climb – Note ! Sammy is on a Bultaco Matador. – we were supposed to go that year also on a Matador, but I broke my leg early in the year – ( reported yesterday on the blog) – I think Turk was on Team Canada that year.

We have often posted stories on our love for the High -Alpine – here is a shot of myself up at around 7,000 ft above Trout Lake BC. – I am sitting on a Beta 200, one of my favorite bikes. ( It ran perfectly up at the high altitude with no need for any carb adjustments) It looks like I have one of the Hebo number plate extra fuel tanks fitted and also one of our neat Outlaw BackPaks witch would hold an extra 3 Gas bottles. ( We gave that to Team Canada for use at the last TDN by Steve Day) – Sadly we no longer make any of the Outlaw toolbelts or other bags.

As I recall – We had Taff, Chris Hrabb and Bruce Baker with us that day – we climbed up via a narrow deer trail like a very long Trials section – which had a huge tree across at one point, which needed some extra hands to get the bikes up and over – but what a neat ride. ( I think Taff and myself also did a Revvy ride that same weekend, plus the Trial at Ymir !! I must have had more energy back then.

We forgot to mention on an earlier blog – that our new Spark arrestors have a wider screen which is not likely to clog up – plus of course if you use Opti 2 at 80-1 ratio your bike will run nice and clean. – ( available from your local Trials dealer)

We have stock for Beta and TRS. and yes you WILL need one if riding the Naramata Trial in April.

Birthday Greetings to our son in law Grant – Our daughter Helen and Grant are visiting Ft St John this week – where Grant grew up – this is a pic they sent of the Signpost at Dawson Creek – a spot I drove by many times in my travels – The local Yamaha dealer called “Walt’s House of Wheels” was just up the road on the right side. – This is the official start of the Alaska Hiway.

Finally – I think somebody needs to invent a “Trump button” for the TV – One that automatically switches channels when he comes on.
