Answer to the last quiz – Diego Bosis at the Canadian World Round on the Section called “Stanley Falls” – A lot of our usual bloggers got this – Pete Varey, Neil Carter, Brett, Harlow, and Stan got the section but thought it was Tommi Avhala. – ( We also did not recognize the section which is interesting because we sponsored this one and had a big advertising board at the top)
Quiz today. Guess who and what bike?

We are a Tad late posting today – rather unusual but had a few other things to look after. -The Easter Weekend is always a big deal in the UK with motorcycle events held all over – Road races at places like Oulton park and for Trials riders, the annual National Lomax Cup trial in North Wales. ( the only National Trial I ever rode) –
This year we have a Trial happening at Naramata in the South Okanagan, a “First” for that location, and with some new enthusiasts in charge – We are looking forward to going down on Sunday as we have never been to that area, and have heard good reports. – If you need a map – check back on the blog a few days.

Here is a rare pic – Mick Andrews acting as a passenger in a sidecar Trial – The bike is a bored out TY 350. ( Can’t say I ever really understood the sidecar thing)

Here is another one of Mick in a more traditional pose. ( unusual to see him with “Knees into the tank”)

A few days ago, we mentioned how bikes have changed and for the most part “improved” over the years. However, it was when Sammy Miller joined Bultaco and introduced the new lightweight “Sherpa T” – that really put a nail in the coffin for the big heavy British 4 strokes.
Sammy turned up at the National Colmore Cup Trial and won on the new bike first time out – and that as they say is “History”
