They had 200 riders in the Pre 65 Scottish this year but not all finished. amazingly two riders completed both days without any loss of points – James Noble 500 Ariel and Gary MacDonald Triumph Cub 3rd on the podium was last years winner Dan Clark who lost just one point for the two days on his very special Ariel 500. – The high standard of riding these days on the Vintage bikes ( yes they are “Tweeked’ a bit) is incredible. They use age as the tie breaker in Scotland, so this year James won out.

But lets not forget our Harry – McKay that is – he did really well to only lose 27 points and finish in 49th position – yes the standard of riding is that close.

below is a pic of Harry (right) with his buddy Gavin at the finish – no doubt it would have been a good night ! with a few “Drams”

Here are the results.

Today is the Big rider parade through the streets of Fort William before a week of 100 mile days with approx 30 sections per day – We hope the weather is kind to our Canadian riders. – But getting a few nice sunny days in Scotland is rare.
