As our regular bloggers will have noticed, we didn’t post a quiz yesterday. Just too much Scottish stuff going on. However here is a Quiz pic for today – Who is this rider and what year did he win the World Trials championship?

The weather is still staying dry in Scotland which will suit the new overall leader Adam Raga – but young Harry Hemingway has only dabbed once so it’s still anybody’s Trial to win. – One favorite who is out of it, is last years winner Jack Price who had some sort of a disaster on day #2 and is now riding on a no award basis.
One thing for sure Adam looks to be super smooth in the sections – amazing how the top riders seem to “float” over those slippery rocks.
Also don’t forget that the videos always tend to “Flatten” things out. And having watched at some of those sections, I can tell you they are pretty darned steep. – ( Plus you get to ride 30 each day for 6 days)
As for our Cannucks, Jon English is still going well and last time I looked he was in 138th position, Aaron Wilkins is also still going but Tyler Mumford will only ride the rest of the week on a no award basis after they fixed the tranny on his Gasser.

Nice to see (and hear in video clips) George Hemingway and Jamie Galloway revving the 125 Beta and TRS up some of those big steps. George is in 10th with 16 points and Jamie in 12th and 24 points. In fact there are quite a few 125 Beta and TRS bikes in this year – if you click on the Trials Mania videos on You Tube – you get to see some of the lads walking the sections with the big “L” learner plates on their Backpacks – This means they have not yet passed their driving test. – In the UK you can only ride a 125cc bike on the road until you are 16yrs old. ( Lots of Road work in the Scottish to make up that 100 mile per day route)
Also great to see Nigel Birkett still going strong – his 52nd ride in the Scottish ( although he did take an unlucky five on Witches Burn)

UPDATE: Day #4 – Raga still clean- Harry Hemingway has lost another dab and is now in 3rd spot – Jon English has lost 17 today so far.
