I’ve posted the pic below, because it shows a lost art in action Photography – it’s called “Panning” a technique that requires a lot of skill and practice, especially back in the day when cameras all used film. – The photographer followed the rider through with the lens, keeping the rider in focus, while the background was ‘blurred’ – which added to the speed image. ( yes we used to do that plus develop all our own film)
