Today we remember this terrible tragedy in Wales. – This happened not far from where Taff lived, before coming to Canada.

Answer to the last quiz – our own Stan Bakgaard at the 1984 Scottish Six Day Trial – where he finished 13th – the best ever finish by a Canadian. – Stan was on the Walt Healy TY 250 Yamaha. – The section is the famous Laggan Locks . – Correct answers came in from Brett, Harlow and Roger.

Quiz today. – Guess who?

I saw this pic of a Bultaco rider flailing away on the Scottish Moors, and it reminded me of the time we raced the 325 Sherpa in the 1973 Moose Mountain – the only way to get across the muskeg was to keep your weight off the bike and paddle like crazy in a high gear.

I see another top rider has called it quits on FIM Hop & Bop.

By the way, with regard to this pic/comment – did you see how many people responded to Jordi Tarres post on facebook regarding the state of Trials?? – Yes a ton of folk replied to this, mostly from Spain, but all agreeing with Jordi’s view on the Sport as it stands right now. -Hopefully we will see this bring commonsense to the sport.

(Meanwhile- We will continue to host and promote Trials “THE OLD FASHIONED WAY”
