Morning Bloggers !! Hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather, which makes for great riding in the woods. ( Quite foggy in Vernon this morning)

Answer to the last quiz – John Reynolds a good UK Trials rider, who always wore a chin strap on his helmet – possibly because of his day job as a RAC /AA patrol sidecar driver. -He now works on Graham Jarvis Enduro bikes for him.

Of course Brett, Harlow got this – as did Pete Varey.

Quiz today – This is a well known regular section used in the Scott Trial – but what is the name????

We heard from Stan – who said they had around 25 riders at the CPTA trial last Sunday, which was well organized. – also that he and Steve Day – quit after one loop when Steve had a rear tire issue.—– ( Good excuse for a beer!!)- He mentioned that Melissa had a nasty fall and cut her chin badly which required stitches ( ouch ! I know all about that)

With all the bad news regarding the Motorcycle Industry, it might be news to some of our newer members, to learn that the Beta factory has been going since 1905 first with bicycles then motorcycles. and scooters.- As a family owned business, they have managed to avoid all the turmoil we have seen with other brands.

And here is a pic of one of the oldest Motorcycle clubs in Canada – The Victoria club has a huge membership, and history, but like most clubs, they have difficulty finding people to do the work.
