Below is a pic of Darryl Copithorne who now lives in Australia, but before that near Cochrane Alberta. – Darryl and another Calgary club Trials rider, (Mitch?) put on the 2nd FIM World Round in Canada back in the late 1970’s. – He messaged me to say he had a heart attack while on a long distance rally bike ride some time ago, and was lucky to survive. – He visited us with is wife Lorraine a few years ago. – Good to hear that has now recovered.

The Annual Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame awards night was held this weekend in Toronto and a couple of previous inducted riders, got to sit down to discuss the sport on stage – Jordan Szoke and Steve Crevier were likely telling stories of their experiences Road Racing – but both rode trials as well – Steve from Vancouver only “Dabbled” a bit and I don’t think was ever that competitive, but Jordan, as many people know was a top Expert, who competed in the TDN .
Below is a pic of myself with Steve at the Vancouver hall of fame in 2018 – We shared a few laughs that weekend about early Yamaha days.
