Answer to the last quiz – Big John Moffat from Scotland, riding his immaculate Matchless in the Pre 65 Scottish. – John is of course the guy who set up the “Trials Guru” website and has now got his special members all over the world ( including this old guy) – He has some great stories on his site and all very interesting. John also is very involved with the Scottish Trials Fraternity and is always at the Scottish Six Days helping out.

Brett was right on the ball with this one as was Harlow

Quiz today – Guess who? and where? ( Unusual bike)

And another one – how many of these 13 bikes can you name?

I saw this posted and thought it a great logo for a Trials club – Peter from Oz might even belong to this.

We clicked onto the You Tube video posted by BVM over the weekend, of the 40 section, one long 6hr limit loop in the UK – The sections were all natural lots of gullies with rocks and water, all very similar to what I used to ride back in the 1950’s. ( We also ran the Summerland Outlaw Trial this way one year – a lot of riders liked that)

What was also interesting in viewing this footage all posted by Craig of BVM – ( difficult to ride an event plus make decent video) – Craig mentioned that he was on one of the new 2026 TRS 300 fuel injected models, and that he was really pleased at how smooth it was. – Some good footage of other riders as well, including his partner on an Evo 200 Factory. – It was Dan Thorpe who took the win at this Trial – riding a John Shirt Gasser, ( non injector) a bike he has been on for many years – in fact Shirty has commented on Trial Tube that he is not a fan of injected bikes. – Check it out if you like conventional trials.

Trystan Hart is certainly setting the Enduro-cross scene on it’s ear – The lad from Invermere has just won another huge event. ( he also bought a Beta Evo Trials bike from us a few years ago)

The angle of this pic of Christy Williams tends to make the TY look tiny – She was out having fun with the North Island boys. ( And likely showing them a thing or two on the bikes)
