He would have been 75 today – -John Britten was perhaps one of the greatest motorcycle engineers of our time, but working in his home workshop in New Zealand, with bad chemicals to produce his dream motorcycle, maybe cost him his life, as he died from cancer at age 45. – We have the VHS video of his life story which is almost the stuff that movies are made of. Absolutely brilliant.

Of course as we head down the last week of October, I’m sure many of our Bloggers will be hoping to squeeze a few more rides in. – Also a time to look ahead to next years models, and this is always exciting – we see that both Beta and TRS have some neat stuff coming, but a reminder that due to the current world economy, supplies could be limited, so if you are going to be in the market, best give us a shout.
This also applies to riding gear – Christmas is coming, so if you are looking for boots, Helmets, clothing, gloves etc etc – best plan early. especially with the current situation with postal delivery.
