Answer to the last quiz ( nobody got it) – the rider is Terry Porter – the pic taken by John Whitby at the 2nd long distance trial we put on in Alberta – -rain and sleet that day pretty ugly!! – Terry moved to Toronto with a job at Air Canada and we lost touch with him. – That Trial was the one which I won, but had a bad fall coming down from the last section with the bike landing on me and broke my leg.

Today I should mention that if anybody wants to contact us – it’s always best to email ahead – as our phone is usually busy ( but you can leave a message after 6 rings) – Our problem is that Babsy tends to forget what day /month or year it is when she gets chatting to her friends. – ( Believe me, we do really want your business!!)

The Costa Brava is certainly getting a lot of video coverage on Face book – riding looks superb especially by Nictou, but I don’t think he is leading at the moment.
We watched a very long video of day one on You Tube – but I’m afraid I fell asleep!! – Well ! I have always said that Trials in it’s true form, is a participant sport – must be very confusing to people not familiar with Trials – a bunch of guys/gals wandering through rough terrain with hands out like they are searching for water!!! – before they ride through one at a time.

Meanwhile we checked a couple of things in the shop yesterday, then gave our favorite TRS 125 a blast around the yard – just love that bike.

Sammy has received another award !!
And a memory of when we sold Sammy’s Trials Accessories and had the old van which we bought new in 1993 and now parked when it had 1,2 million km on the clock. – ( Yes we ran it on Opti 4 Oil)
